Grady Lee Floyd Sr. was born on Oct. 27 1961 to both the late Charlie Floyd Sr. & Alma Mose. He was born in Evergreen, AL where he attended grade school. He later moved to Atmore, AL, where he grew up in the Freemanville Community.
He served in the US Army for a short term of his life. He later married Lafaye Lowery and moved to Century Florida. Grady was a very out spoken man, to know him is to love him. Grady loved working and fixing up old cars and trucks. Preceded in death by Sisters: Pearlie Stallworth & Ericha Floyd Bother: Willie Floyd & his stepfather, Clarence Mose.
He leaves a cherished daughter Gabrielle Floyd (Mississippi), grandaughter Prophecy Joy – Renee Mcdonald. Son Grady Lee Floyd Jr. (Flomaton), stepdaughter Jessica Black (pensacola), sister Eula Floyd (Winston Salem, NC), brother Charlie Floyd Jr.(Brewton), Sister Mary Thurman (Atmore), Joann Gross (Evergreen).
He also leave behind stepsisters: Gretta King (Dothan), Mable Wilson (Andalusia), Barbara Wilson (Evergreen) & stepbrothers: Larry Wilson (Mobile), Frank Mcwilliam (Port Wentworth, Ga.). Who we love dearly. A host of aunts, nieces, nephews, & cousins. Also, a special sister-in-law, who we will always love, Bertha Floyd.
